Havering Parks Protection Service

We now have a really successful Parks Protection Service. Led by Steve Rawlins they are responsible for security in our parks and open spaces. If you spot anything you think is suspicious, but not really the responsibility of the Police, then please contact them on 07904 805872, or email them at parksprotection@havering.gov.uk - anything from dumping of rubbish to anti-social behaviour to motor bikes. If in doubt please contact them anyway. They are NOT there to replace the Police though - if you think it is an emergency then please call 999.

Great job boys and girls,
I must say its been much more pleasurable without the thugs racing through the woods,
Keep it up!

Have the Parks Team gone,
We have not seen them in over 8 months,
We walk our dogs every morning over here,
And generally had a wave and a smile of of them.
Such a shame the improvements were dramatic,
Ivan

Just to say that the Parks Protection Service are still very much here and doing all we can to maintain our lovely parks. You will only tend to see us more often than not when there are potential issues in a your green space though we do patrol Bedfords on a more regular basis, it being one of our larger country park areas. Just a reminder to call us, if needed, on our response mobile number 07904 805872 or for less urgent matters or advice, leave an e mail via parksprotection@havering.gov.uk. Thanks to all for your support. Steve Rawlins (Parks Protection Manager)
